Response-to-Intervention is an instructional method that was included in the 2004 IDEA Re-authorization.  Frequently referred to as RTI, it greatly impacts students with learning disabilities in public schools. COPAA RTI Policy Statement

The Council of Parents Attorneys and Advocates in June 2016 issued a policy statement on Response to Intervention.  Written by attorney Matt Cohen it expresses COPAA’s grave concerns with RTI.
